University of Sydney Representatives Visiting Canadian Universities to Educate Students on Degree Options
Representatives from Law, Medical and Exercise Sciences Making Stops in October and November
Faculty from the University of Sydney’s law, medical and exercise sciences departments will visit a variety of Canadian universities in October and November to present their degree program options.
Scheduled visits include:
University of Sydney – Law School
Executive Director Annette Giles of the University of Sydney Law School and Kate Smart from the International Office of the University of Sydney will visit university campuses across Canada, meet with interested individuals and give presentations on the new Juris Doctor (JD) program at the University of Sydney. Schedule as follows:
- Monday, October 4 – McMaster University
- Tuesday, October 5 – University of Toronto
- Wednesday, October 6 – University of Toronto, Mississauga
- Thursday, October 7 – University of Toronto, Scarborough
- Friday, October 8 – University of Western Ontario
- Friday, October 8 – Queen’s University
- Wednesday, October 13 – University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University
- Wednesday, October 13 – McGill University
University of Sydney – Physiotherapy
Dr. Nathan Johnson, Lecturer in the Discipline of Exercise and Sports Science (ESS) from the University of Sydney will visit several universities across Canada to discuss graduate entry master’s degree options in the Faculty of Health Sciences, including PT, OT, Speech Language Pathology, Exercise Physiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Health Informatics (amongst others). Schedule as follows:
- Saturday, October 30th – Pre Departure Session University of Toronto, Toronto, ON (all are welcome)
- Monday, November 1st –University of Guelph, McMaster University, University of Waterloo
- Tuesday, November 2nd – Brock University
- Wednesday, November 3rd – University of Western Ontario
- Thursday, November 4th – York University and University of Toronto
- Friday November 5th – McGill University
- Monday November 8th –University of Alberta
- Tuesday November 9th –University of British Columbia
University of Sydney – Medical School
Associate Dean of Admissions/Professor Stewart Dunn (Professor of Psychological Medicine) of the University of Sydney Medical School will visit university campuses across Canada, meet with interested individuals and give presentations on the University of Sydney Medical School. He will also discuss the application and interview process and the transfer of qualifications back to Canada. Schedule as follows:
- Wednesday, November 10 – University of British Columbia
- Friday, November 12 – McMaster University
- Monday, November 15 – University of Ottawa
- Tuesday, November 16 – McGill University
